Meet the Doctors

Dentistry on Campus was started by Dr. Nicki Daudi and Dr. Gurjeet K. Rai because they not only saw the need for dental services for the students here at the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus, but also because they truly care deeply about dental health and well-being.

With this in mind, Dentistry on Campus is dedicated to making a difference in our patients' lives by providing exemplary dental care. Our staff have been chosen because they also care about patient health and safety as well as having the commitment, understanding, and excitement that it takes to be a great dental practise.

Please let us introduce you to our staff:

Dr Nicki Daudi

Dr Nicki Daudi has been practicing dentistry since 1993. Graduated from Northwestern University Dental School. She is a general dentist that provides orthodontic treatment. Aside from her career & love for dentistry, she enjoys Taekwondo and skiing. However, much of her time is devoted to her three children Adam, Daniel and Norah.

Dr Gurjeet Kaur Rai

Dr. Gurjeet Kaur Rai graduated from the University of Toronto in 1997 with her BSc. in chemistry and mathematical sciences. She then went on to complete a diploma in dental hygiene, and graduated from George Brown College in 1999. Enjoying dentistry, Dr. Rai decided to further pursue her studies and in 2006, she received her D.D.S degree (Doctor of Dental Surgery) from the University of Western Ontario. Her dental hygiene background plays a large role in her emphasis on your oral health and overall health...a healthy smile, a healthy lifestyle. She enjoys and is efficient in all aspects of dentistry from preventative care to restorative and cosmetic care. She is certified in Invisalign (wireless braces) and takes great pleasure in giving her patients a beautiful and confident smile.

Dr. Gokhan Shevket - Associate for Wisdom Teeth Surgery

Dr. Gokhan Shevket is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario (DDS), and University of Toronto (Honours BSc, Biology Specialist). He served with the Canadian Forces as a dentist (Captain) from 2006-2010. Currently, He is focusing his dental services primarily in surgery, providing surgical extraction of impacted wisdom teeth in number of clinics, including our very own, Dentistry on Campus UTSC.

Dr. Wendy Shyu

Dr. Wendy Shyu received her Doctoral of Dental Surgery from the University of Toronto and is an active member of Ontario Dental Association (ODA) and the Royal College and Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO). Over the years, she participated in several volunteering and community events. She is kind and committed to provide top-quality dentistry to all her patients. She is also eager to learn new dental technology and knowledge by taking various continue education courses. Besides her passion in dentistry, Dr. Shyu also enjoys running, playing with her dog, biking and traveling.
